Event Details
The Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The event is held at Piedmont Park, located at 5960 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy in Piedmont, Alabama.
Race Courses and Distances
Participants can choose from three distances, all run on out-and-back loop courses. Registration for all runners must be completed online via RunSignup; on-site registration is not available.
- 5K: Runners complete a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop two times.
- 10K: Runners complete the same 1.56-mile loop four times.
- Half Marathon (13.1M): Runners complete a different, longer 2.18-mile out-and-back loop six times.
Additional Information
The event has an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start. Participants receive a finisher medal.
