Venecia's Foundation Crap Run - Piedmont, AL
The event takes place on October 3, 2026 at 108 North Center Avenue in Piedmont, Alabama. It is organized by Venecia's Foundation to raise funds and show support for people affected by cancer. Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026.
Event options include:
- 1 mile Kid Fun Run for ages 10 and under
- 5K Crap Run Traditional
- 5K Crap Run Athena/Clydesdale divisions
- 5K Crap Run Virtual
The Kid Fun Run is limited to participants aged 10 and under and includes recognition for top male and female finishers. The Traditional 5K uses bib chip timing for official times and awards the top three male and top three female overall finishers plus top three male and female in eight age divisions. The Athena and Clydesdale divisions are weight classes using an honor system; Athena begins at 165 lb for women and Clydesdale begins at 220 lb for men. Those 5K races award top finishers and use chip timing. The virtual 5K can be completed anytime and shirts are shipped within the continental United States; shipping cost is included.
Race packets are available the Friday before the race and on race day. Parking and restrooms are available on site. Pets must be leashed and are the owner’s responsibility. Strollers are permitted; participants with strollers are asked to start from the back of the field. The event will proceed in normal or inclement weather; transfers of registrations are not allowed and cancellations may result in entries being retained as donations to the foundation.
