Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon in Piedmont, AL
The event takes place in Piedmont, Alabama at 5960 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy, 36272. It offers multiple race distances and organized support for participants.

The 5K and 10K use the same short loop. The loop measures 0.78 miles and the out-and-back for that loop is 1.56 miles; the 5K completes the out-and-back two times and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a longer loop of 1.09 miles with an out-and-back of 2.18 miles; the half marathon completes that out-and-back six times.
Packet pickup is available starting 30 minutes before the race and ending 10 minutes before the race. All runners must register online on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Registration fees listed by distance are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the Half Marathon.
The event enforces a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, event shirts and gear, a best costume recognition, series points and awards are part of the event program.
