US Road Running - Pflugerville
The Gobbler event in Pflugerville, Texas, is a multi-distance running event organized by US Road Running. The race takes place at Bohls Park, with parking available at the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department and Recreation Center. All participants must complete their registration online through RunSignup, as there is no registration available on-site.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The event utilizes an out-and-back course format. For the 5K and 10K, the course follows a 0.78-mile section totaling 1.56 miles per lap; 5K runners complete this lap twice, while 10K runners complete it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile section totaling 2.18 miles per lap, which participants complete six times. Due to local construction, the course layout is subject to updates.
The event has an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race. Participants also have the option to compete for a best costume award. Packet pickup is conducted locally at the race site on the morning of the event.
