Race Information
The Medal Madness event in Pflugerville, Texas, offers multiple distances for participants. The race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward the series rankings. Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site during the 30-minute window before the start of the races.
Distances and Course Layout
The event includes three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All distances utilize an out and back course design. Participants in the 5K complete the course twice, while those in the 10K complete it four times. Runners in the Half Marathon complete the course six times. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events. Due to construction in the area, course locations are subject to updates.
Venue and Amenities
Parking is located at the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department and Recreation Center on Immanuel Road. Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completing their respective distance. Although not required, participants have the option to wear costumes, with a Best Costume Award mailed out following the conclusion of the event.
