Event Overview
The Medal Madness event takes place in Pflugerville, Texas. It offers participants a choice of three running distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon (13.1 miles). All three events start together.
Course Information
The original course is currently closed due to construction. The organizers are actively working to secure a new course and will update the registration page once it is confirmed. Previously, the courses were designed as out-and-back loops. The 5K and 10K shared a 0.78-mile base loop, with the 5K requiring two laps and the 10K requiring four laps to complete their respective distances. The Half Marathon used a 1.09-mile base loop, requiring six laps to complete the 13.1-mile distance. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Registration and Logistics
All runners must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before the start. Participants are instructed to park at the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department and Recreation Center located at 400 Immanuel Road.
