The New Year 5K & Half Marathon takes place on January 3, 2026 in Hickory, North Carolina. The starting line is located across the street from the corner of 16th Ave Pl NW and 12th St Dr NW, with an event address of 1581 12th St Dr NW, Hickory, NC 28601. All participants must register online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The organiser provides finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume contest, series points, and awards.
