Holiday 5K & 10K at Raleigh
The Holiday 5K & 10K is a seasonal running event held at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event takes place on a concrete course with all activities centered around the playground on the north side of the park. Facilities, including bathrooms and parking, are conveniently located near the playground area. The park gates open one hour before the event begins.
Participants can choose between two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The competition features an out-and-back course layout. Each lap of the out-and-back section measures 1.56 miles. Runners participating in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. A total course time limit of two hours is enforced for all participants.
Registration must be completed in advance through the online platform, as there is no option for on-site registration. Mandatory packet pickup is held on the morning of the event, closing shortly before the start. Finisher medals are awarded to those who complete their distance, and the event includes additional components such as a best costume contest and series points for eligible runners.
