Medal Madness 5K & 13.1M at Raleigh, NC
US Road Running stages Medal Madness at 9300 Deponie Dr, Raleigh, NC 27614. The event includes two measured race distances on a concrete course and is part of the organizer's series.
Distances and fees:
- 5K registration fee $30.00
- 13.1M registration fee $65.00
Course and format: The course surface is concrete. Both distances use repeating out and back segments. The 5K uses a 0.78 mile segment and completes the out and back twice. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment, making a 2.18 mile out and back that is repeated six times.
Logistics and services: The park gate opens at 8:00 am on race day. Parking and bathrooms are located by the playground on the north side of the park. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on site registration. A packet pickup process is provided on race day.
Other information: The course time limit for the event is 3:00 hours. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards.
