Event Overview
The Medal Madness 5K & 13.1M event takes place on June 20, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event offers two race distances: a 5K and a 13.1-mile half marathon.
Race Details
Both races start from the same location. The course surface is concrete, and both routes are structured as out-and-back loops. For the 5K, runners complete a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment twice. For the half marathon, runners complete a 2.18-mile out-and-back segment six times. There is an overall course time limit of three hours.
Venue and Logistics
The event is held at Green Hills County Park, located at 9300 Deponie Dr, Raleigh, NC. The park gate opens at 8:00 AM. Parking is available at the playground on the north side of the park, where bathrooms are also located. All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
