Event overview
Medal Madness 5K & 13.1 takes place on June 20, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event is organized by US Road Running. All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available on race day and closes shortly before the race begins. There is a course time limit of 3:00 hours. Finisher medals, shirts and race gear are provided as part of the event services.
Course and logistics
The course surface is concrete. Parking and restrooms are located by the playground on the north side of the park. The event uses out-and-back loops for both distances:
- 5K - out-and-back using a 0.78 mi segment repeated twice.
- 13.1 - out-and-back using a 1.09 mi segment repeated six times.
