Event details
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for June 20, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 13.1 (Half Marathon)
All participants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race. The park gate opens at 8:00 am.
Course and logistics
Both courses are out-and-back routes on a concrete surface. The 5K course is described as a 0.78M segment; the out-and-back measures 1.56M and the 5K uses that out-and-back twice. The half marathon course is described as a 1.09M segment; the out-and-back measures 2.18M and the half marathon repeats that out-and-back six times. The event has a course time limit of 3:00 hours.
Parking and bathrooms are located by the playground on the north side of the park. The event lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, and awards as part of the race services.
