Participants can choose from three activities, all beginning at the same time:

A timed 5K for runners without dogs.
A timed 5K for runners with dogs.
A fun walk over a one-mile course that is dog-friendly.

Prizes are awarded to the fastest runners in different age categories for both the dog and no-dog 5K races. A costume contest for people and their pets is also part of the event, with several prizes available.

Additional Features

The event includes a special t-shirt for participants, complimentary snacks and beverages, and a vendor village. The vendor village has a "Make Your Own" Dog Treat bar. There is also a raffle with a prize; participants do not need to be present to win.
