US Road Running - Lakewood Park
US Road Running stages a set of road races at Lakewood Park in Fort Pierce, FL, at 5990 Emerson Ave. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles
All races are run on asphalt surfaces. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that segment once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 3.28 miles repeated four times. The course has a published overall time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. All participants must register online on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The start area is located by the tennis courts and bathrooms are in the pavilion adjacent to the starting line.
