Event overview
The Medal Madness event in Kerrville, Texas takes place on January 17, 2026, at Louise Hays Park (202 Thompson Dr, Kerrville, TX 78028). Course and logistics
The courses are on paved surfaces and use out-and-back loops. The 5K and 10K share an out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats this segment twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles and repeats that segment six times. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event includes a best costume category, which is encouraged but not required.
