US Road Running - Katy
The US Road Running event in Katy, Texas, takes place at the Mason Creek Hike and Bike Trail. This organized race offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
The 5K and 10K participants utilize an out-and-back course that measures 1.56 miles per lap. Those completing the 5K must finish the course two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a different out-and-back route measuring 2.18 miles per lap, requiring participants to complete the course six times to reach the total distance.
A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all course distances. Race packet pickup is available starting 30 minutes before the event and concludes 10 minutes before the start. Registration is handled online, as there is no provision for on-site registration on the day of the event.
Dedicated parking is available at a designated location near the trail. All finishers receive a medal for completing their respective distance.
