Bennett Park at Dark
Bennett Park at Dark is a night cross-country running event held at Bennett Park in Bradenton, Florida (400 Cypress Creek Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34208, USA). Trails are lit with neon and blacklight, and participants are expected to wear visible clothing. A headlamp or flashlight is required.
The event offers two course options:
- 2 miles: a shorter, family-oriented course.
- 4 miles: a course that uses park trails and goes around the park without repeating loops.
Registration fees listed for the event are $20.00 for the 2-mile option and $30.00 for the 4-mile option. Packet pickup is available on the day of the event only in the Vendor Village from 6pm until 7pm.
Additional event features mentioned include a selfie wall near the venue and illuminated red eyes placed around the ponds along the route. The organizer also offers a referral incentive: for every four people a registrant brings, the registrant receives $20 back; sufficient referrals can cover the registration fee.
