Haunted 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon
The US Road Running race series organizes several running events at Ed Austin Regional Park in Jacksonville, Florida. This event features multiple course lengths on a path that is approximately 50% shaded. The running surface consists of asphalt and concrete.
Participants can choose from three main distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon utilizes a separate 2.18-mile out-and-back loop, which must be completed six times to reach the total distance.
The event setup is located next to the local skatepark. If the primary parking area is full, overflow parking is available near the back of the park by the soccer fields. All participants have a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their chosen course. Race registration is managed online, as no registration is available at the park on the day of the event.
