Event Overview
The US Road Running event at Brian Piccolo Sports Park in Hollywood, Florida, features two race distances on a paved out-and-back course. The event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and is held at 9501 Sheridan St. Participants must register in advance as there is no on-site registration.
Race Options
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K: This distance requires completing the out-and-back course twice.
- 10K: This distance requires completing the out-and-back course four times.
Course Details
The race takes place on a 0.78-mile course section, resulting in a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. The start line is located next to Cricket Field 2, adjacent to the parking lot and across from the baseball fields. All participants have a total course time limit of 2 hours to complete their chosen distance.
Additional Information
The park gate opens one hour before the official start. There is a nominal parking fee per vehicle that is not included in the registration. Packet pickup is available on-site beginning 30 minutes before the event. All finishers receive a medal, and participants are encouraged to take part in the best costume competition.
