Race Overview
The Viking 5K and 10K takes place at Brian Piccolo Sports Park in Hollywood, Florida. The event offers two distance options: 5K and 10K. There is a parking fee of $3.00 per car, which is not included with registration. The park gate opens for participants before the race.
Logistics and Registration
All runners must register online in advance; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start time and concludes 10 minutes before the race begins.
Course Details
Both the 5K and 10K races use the same out-and-back loop course, which is approximately 0.78 miles long. The start line is located next to Cricket Field 2, across from the baseball fields and close to the parking lot. Runners complete multiple laps of this loop: the 5K requires two laps, and the 10K requires four laps. The course has a time limit of two hours.
