US Road Running - Columbus

Event
The Medal Madness races take place on September 19, 2026 in Columbus, GA at Rotary Park, 1300 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA 31901. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Finisher medals are offered. A costume contest and awards are part of the event program. A shirt and gear shop is available. The event is organized by US Road Running.
Course and logistics
Courses are paved and described as having shade. Bathrooms are located in the parking lot. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. A time limit for completing the course is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course formats:
- The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course where one out-and-back measures 3.11 miles; the 5K does that out-and-back once and the 10K twice.
- The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back course described as 3.28 miles per out-and-back and repeats that out-and-back four times.
