Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Columbus, GA
This event on September 19, 2026, is a set of road races held at 1300 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA. It offers multiple measured distances on looped out and back courses with a published overall time limit.
Distances offered:
- 5K : registration fee $30.
- 10K : registration fee $45.
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) : registration fee $65.
Course format and laps are specified by distance. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile out and back segment; the 5K completes that segment two times and the 10K four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile out and back segment and completes that segment six times. The race has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Administrative and facility notes: all runners must register through RunSignup and there is no on site registration. Packet pickup is provided on race day and closes shortly before the race begins. Parking is available near the start and park restrooms are located near the parking lot. Race Club t shirts are mailed to new club members after registration; no shirts are available on site.
Refreshments listed for participants include water, a fruit or gummy snack, and a granola bar at the starting line; these are accessible on each lap and after the race.
