Standing Boy Trail Festival
The Standing Boy Trail Festival takes place September 18-20, 2026 at Standing Boy Trails, 1701 Old River Rd, Columbus, GA. The event is organized by Revolution Running Co.
Race options include:
- Night Time Vertical 5K
- 10 Miler
- Canicross 10 Miler
- 50K
The main course is a 10 mile loop that passes through the start and finish area. The 10 Miler completes the loop once; the 50K completes the loop three times. Drop bags are permitted at the start and finish for 50K runners and a fully stocked aid station will be available on course.
The Night Time Vertical 5K is an out-and-back up and down the mountain with about 400 feet of gain; a headlamp or light is required. The Canicross 10 Miler uses the opposing loop to reduce trail congestion and starts shortly after the 10 Miler.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Standing Boy Trail System. A raffle entry into the 2027 Western States 100 is offered to participants who finish the Bootlegger 100 and complete the Standing Boy 50K.
All participants receive a unique medal for each race. Additional swag: 5K participants receive a small insulated cooler, 10 Miler participants receive a beach towel, and 50K participants receive a t-shirt.
Parking requires prepayment unless a year pass is held; parking is limited and overall entrant capacity is restricted. Refunds are 100% until three months before the event; after that there are no refunds. The 50K cut off is 9.5 hours and the 10 Miler cut off is 3.5 hours.
