Event Overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Rotary Park in Columbus, Georgia. The race start and packet pickup location is at 1300 Victory Dr.
Distances
The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All three races start together.
Course Details
The course is fully paved. The 5K and 10K share a loop that is approximately 0.78 miles long, run as an out-and-back. The 5K requires completing this loop two times. The 10K requires completing the same loop four times.
The Half Marathon course uses a separate loop of approximately 1.09 miles, also run as an out-and-back. The Half Marathon requires completing this specific loop six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Registration & Logistics
All participants must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration on race day. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before the start. Restrooms are available in the parking lot at the venue.
Finisher medals are awarded. The event is part of the US Road Running series, which includes points for series standings, awards, and a costume contest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
