Event Overview
The Pirate 5K, 10K, 13.1M & 26.2M is a multi-distance running event held at E J Nutter Park in Beavercreek, Ohio. The event features four distinct race distances on out-and-back courses. Participants must register in advance through the online platform, as there is no registration available at the event site. Packet pickup occurs on the morning of the race during a 20-minute window starting 30 minutes before the official start.
Course Information
The event utilizes two primary course layouts depending on the chosen distance:
- 5K - A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K - Two repetitions of the 3.11-mile out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon - Four repetitions of a 3.28-mile out-and-back loop.
- Marathon - Eight repetitions of the 3.28-mile out-and-back loop.
All participants across all distances are subject to a total course time limit of six hours.
Additional Features
Finisher medals are provided to participants who complete their respective courses. The event also includes a costume component, where runners are encouraged to compete for a best costume award.
