Event Overview
The Viking 5K & 10K takes place on February 21, 2026, at Kelly Park West in Merritt Island, Florida. Runners can choose between a 5K and a 10K distance.
Race Details
The start line is located near the tennis courts. The course is paved with asphalt and is an out-and-back route. A single loop measures 0.78 miles. Runners complete this loop multiple times: the 5K requires two loops, and the 10K requires four loops. A two-hour time limit applies to the course.
Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before the start. All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Restrooms are available in the pavilion near the starting line.
Additional Information
