Event overview

The Space Pirate 100 is a coastal ultrarunning event held on Feb 21, 2026, on Florida’s Space Coast and Treasure Coast, with race activity in Port Canaveral, Fort Pierce, and Jensen Beach. The event is limited to 100 runners. Registration closes on Fri, Feb 20.

Distances and format

  • 100 Miler
  • 100 Mile x 3 Person Relay
  • 50 Miler
  • 33.3 Miler

All events are support-crew only. The 100 Mile relay uses a flexible format: teams may choose their own strategy and teammates do not have to cover equal mileage; members can cover additional distance if a teammate is unable to continue.

Logistics and rules

Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Banana River Park, 901 Puerto Del Rio Dr, Cape Canaveral, FL. The 33.3 Miler and 50 Miler start from Pepper Beach Park in Fort Pierce and proceed toward Jensen Beach Park. The 100 Miler finishes on the beach in the sand; finishers open a Space Pirate treasure chest to earn a finisher's buckle. There is a 31-hour cutoff for the main event.

Professional timing is provided by MCMTiming. There are no refunds for registration fees; a one-time deferral may be offered at the organizers’ discretion if communicated in advance. Custom awards are planned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
