Urban Cow Weekend 2026
The Urban Cow Weekend is a multi-day running event held in Sacramento, California. The festivities take place at 3835 Freeport Blvd and primarily utilize the scenery of William Land Park. This event is part of the 2026 RunSac Race Series and includes several participation options spread across two days.
Participants can choose from various race distances and formats:
- 5K Run/Walk: A scenic course held on Saturday through William Land Park.
- Half Marathon: A long-distance race held on Sunday covering iconic city landmarks.
- Double Udder Bundle: A combination entry for both the Saturday 5K and Sunday Half Marathon.
The Half Marathon course passes through several notable Sacramento neighborhoods and landmarks. The route Includes views of the Capitol Mall, DOCO, and Old Sacramento. Runners also cross the Tower Bridge and follow the path of the Sacramento River.
The event provides specific amenities based on the registration type. Those completing the Double Udder Bundle receive an event shirt, two cowbell finisher medals, and a dedicated Double Udder medal. Packet pickup is organized at William Land Park starting on Friday and continuing through the race weekend. The event also serves as a fundraising platform for the organization Runnin' for Rhett.
