Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K in Louisville

The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Louisville on October 17, 2026. The event starts and finishes in downtown Louisville with the start line at Sixth Street and West Main Street. The half marathon course passes through Cherokee Park and highlights fall foliage along the route. Walkers are permitted but must maintain an 18 minute per mile pace.

The event offers both in person and virtual options and includes participant items and post race activities. All participants in the UBHM and UB5K receive a long sleeve shirt and a bourbon themed finisher medal. Registered half marathon runners are invited to the Urban Bourbon Bash at Fourth Street Live with live music by the Louisville Crashers. Half marathon entrants receive bourbon samples, beer, pizza, and soup as part of entry. Urban Bourbon 5K participants may purchase a discounted wristband on race morning for access to the same offerings.
