Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K
The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Louisville on October 17, 2026. The event program includes the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon, the Urban Bourbon 5K, and virtual options for both distances.
The half marathon is a 13.1 miles destination race that celebrates more than 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky distilling heritage. The course starts and finishes in downtown Louisville and winds through Cherokee Park, noted for its fall foliage.
Walkers are welcome but must maintain an 18 minute per mile pace because the course has a closing time. All participants receive a long sleeve shirt and a bourbon themed finisher medal.
Registered runners are invited to the Urban Bourbon Bash at Fourth Street Live with live music. Urban Bourbon Half Marathon registrants have bourbon samples, beer, pizza, and soup included with entry.
