Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K
The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Louisville on October 17, 2026. The event offers both in person and virtual options and includes a full half marathon and a 5K distance.

The half marathon starts and finishes in downtown Louisville and the course passes through Cherokee Park. Walkers are permitted on the course but must maintain an 18 minute per mile pace. Both the half marathon and the 5K provide a long sleeve shirt and a bourbon themed finisher medal to participants.
Registered half marathon entrants receive on course bourbon samples along with beer, pizza, and soup as part of their entry. 5K participants may purchase a discounted wristband on race morning to access the same food and beverage offerings. Registered runners are invited to the Urban Bourbon Bash at Fourth Street Live!, which features live music.
