Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K
The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 18, 2025. The course starts and finishes in downtown Louisville, with part of the route running through Cherokee Park. The event marks 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky distilling history and includes both in-person and virtual options.
Race details
Participants must be at least 21 years old on race day. Walkers may participate but must maintain an 18:00 minute per mile pace because the course will close at 12 p.m. All registered participants receive a long-sleeved shirt and a bourbon-themed medal. Half marathon registrants are offered bourbon samples, beer, pizza and soup as part of registration; 5K participants may purchase a discounted wristband on race morning for the same items. The event includes a post-race Urban Bourbon Bash with live music. Entry fees listed for the in-person and virtual events are $85 for the half marathon and $40 for the 5K, with prices increasing after August 31, 2025.
