Event Overview
The SAGE Upstate Pride 5k is a running and walking event. It takes place on June 6, 2026, at Long Branch Park in Liverpool, New York. The event was formerly known as the CNY Gay 5K. The organizers state the new name is intended to be inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities, as well as allies.
Course and Format
The event offers a single in-person race distance: a 5k. A virtual option is also available for participants to complete on their own.
Charitable Impact
All proceeds from the event stay in the local community. The funds support SAGE Upstate programs aimed at reducing isolation and improving health for older LGBTQ people.
Registration Information
Online registration opens on March 1, 2026. Registration fees vary by date:
- Early registration from March 1-15 is $30.
- Registration from March 16 to June 1 is $35.
- A discounted rate of $15 is available for participants aged 12 and under.
Registration on the day of the event is available for $40. For participants who register by May 18, a t-shirt is guaranteed.
