Event overview
The Lake Effect Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026. This is the 15th annual running of the event. The live race takes place in the Village of Minoa with the start near Lewis Park. The event portfolio includes both in-person and virtual options, and an after-race party will follow the live races.

Entry details available on the event page show general registration is open and that some prices increase after December 29, 2025. Age eligibility listed for specific events includes the LIVE Half Marathon open to ages 12 and older, the LIVE Quarter Marathon open to ages 5 and older, and the VIRTUAL Half Marathon open to ages 14 and older. Registration for the LIVE Kids Run closes February 12, 2026.
