Uplowman 10k : Monday 25 May 2026
The Uplowman 10k is a single 10 km road loop held from the village hall in Uplowman, which serves as race headquarters. The course has approximately 100 m of total elevation and combines flat, fast roads with rolling Devon lanes. Places are limited to 200 runners and the minimum entry age is 15. Entry fees are listed for UKA members and non members.
The clockwise route starts on the playing field beside the village hall and exits onto the road through the village. A left turn at the crossroads by the Redwoods Inn leads onto a gradual 3 km descent heading west. The route then turns north and crosses the River Lowman, followed by a gradual 2 km climb through the hamlet of Craze Lowman and adjoining farmland. A water station is located at the 5.5 km mark and provides recyclable drink cups. After a short descent and flat section the route climbs to its highest point, then descends past cottages and farms to rejoin the road back into Uplowman. Runners encounter a couple of short sharp climbs before returning across the Redwoods Inn crossroads and turning into the playing field for a lap to finish.
Free parking is available in the field opposite the village hall with marshals directing parking. The village hall carpark is reserved for race officials and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
