Uplowman 10k Road Race
Uplowman 10k is a single 10 km road loop organised by Tiverton Harriers. The event takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2026 with the race headquarters at Uplowman Village Hall, Uplowman, Devon EX16 7DN. The course has approximately 100 m of elevation.
The clockwise route leaves the playing field at the village hall and heads through the village, onto a fast straight that descends for about 3 km towards Tiverton. Runners cross the river Lowman and continue through a gradual 2 km climb past the hamlet of Craze Lowman and surrounding farmland. After a short descent and flat section, the route climbs to its highest point, passing a water station at the 6 km mark that uses recyclable cups. The final section snakes downhill past cottages and farms, re-enters Uplowman with a couple of short sharp climbs near the church, crosses the Redwoods Inn crossroads and finishes with a lap of the playing field.
Entry is limited to 200 runners. Race numbers are collected on the day. Free parking is provided in the field opposite the village hall; the village hall carpark is reserved for race officials and volunteers. The event offers a free t-shirt and free race photos.
