Unlock the Ties That Bind 5K Run and Walk
Unlock the Ties That Bind 5K Run and Walk is an empowerment and advocacy event organized by Going Into Pieces Movement Inc. It is scheduled for June 12 and is set to take place at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, FL, at 4810 N Himes, 33614.
The event is intended to support underserved and vulnerable populations, including men, human trafficking survivors, teen fathers, and people experiencing mental health challenges. It aims to raise awareness about the barriers these groups face, especially issues affecting men that may be underreported due to stigma and misconceptions about masculinity.
Participants come together to symbolize resilience, healing, and the process of moving forward after trauma. The event also generates support for a men’s emotional well being initiative called 3rd Eye Anchored.
Event format includes both running and walking over a short distance.
