Twisted Cider is a community run and walk held in University Place at Curran Apple Orchard Park (3920 Grandview Dr W, University Place, WA 98466). The event offers courses that meander through neighborhood streets with glimpses of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and Puget Sound. The routes feature gentle rolling hills along with flat sections. The 5K course is USATF certified (WA22013RMB). All finishers receive a commemorative medal.

Registration, packet pickup and race logistics
Registration for the 5K and 12K includes a tri-blend shirt (order by 6/27 to guarantee size), a collective bib, and a complimentary giant pretzel and cider at the finish line. Kids 1K finishers receive a ribbon. Team discounts apply at specified team sizes with a $5 refund when thresholds are met. Race timing is provided by a professional timing service and photos are provided after the event.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Curran Apple Orchard and on race morning; packets contain a bib with timing chip, a gear check tear tag, and a food redemption tag. Gear check requires a participant-provided bag and is claimable with a bib number; organizers are not responsible for valuables. Parking is available at a nearby church and at the Curtis High School Aquatic Center parking lot. Awards include overall male and female and age-group ribbons for top finishers.
