Twisted Cider event overview
The Twisted Cider run and walk is held at Curran Apple Orchard Park in University Place, Washington. The event offers these distances:
- 5K
- 12K
- Kids 1K (ages 12 and under, out-and-back on Sound View Drive)
The 5K course is USATF certified (WA22013RMB). Courses run through quiet neighborhoods with glimpses of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and Puget Sound and include gentle rolling hills as well as flat sections. All finishers receive a commemorative medal; 5K and 12K participants receive a tri-blend shirt when ordered by the stated cutoff date. Kids in the 1K receive a finisher ribbon. Parents may run with children in the Kids 1K without registering for that distance.
