Santa Runs Tacoma
Santa Runs Tacoma is a set of road races held in downtown Tacoma on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The event offers multiple distances with a common start and finish in downtown Tacoma.

The half marathon is an out-and-back course that follows the waterfront and the Ruston Way Path, passes the Point Ruston Waterwalk and Dune Peninsula Park, and includes a crossing of the Wilson Way Bridge before returning to downtown. The 10K follows part of the half marathon route along the waterfront. The 5K is a shorter community event open to runners and walkers.
Registration includes a finisher medal for all participants, a collective bib, and a festive beanie for early registrants; long sleeve event shirts are available for purchase during registration while supplies last. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Central Co-Op in Tacoma; packets include a bib with a timing chip, safety pins, and a gear check tear tag.
Course support includes multiple aid stations providing water and electrolytes and fixed bathrooms at several locations. Medical services are provided by a professional sports medicine provider. A portion of proceeds benefits the Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County. Entry fees are non refundable and transfers or rollovers are not permitted.
