Event overview
The Christmas Rush is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Kent, Washington. The event includes two distances:
- 5k run/walk
- 10k run
Both races run along the Green River and finish at the same location. The 10k uses a new course that starts on the west side of the Green River, crosses the river, and finishes on the east side. Awards are given to the top five finishers in each age group. Participants age 13 and under are free courtesy of Taylor Farms.
Logistics and additional information
The event base is at Hogan Park, 24400 Russell Road, Kent. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Road Runner Sports on the Thursday before the race; shirts and bibs are also available on race day. The shirt order deadline is Thursday, November 13 at 11:59 p.m. A garage-sale table after the race sells prior-year shirts for $5 cash. The organizers seek about 20 volunteers for course marshals, water and snack distribution, and other event tasks. Parking is located at Hogan Park.
