Christmas Eve Ugly Sweater
The Christmas Eve Ugly Sweater event takes place on December 24, 2026 at Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup, Washington. It is the eighth annual gathering that combines a community 5K run/walk with a short children’s race and on-site holiday features.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Kids Elf Dash (ages 3–9)
Registration fees are stated for each event: the 5K registration fee is $30 and the Kids Elf Dash registration fee is $15. Registration for the 5K and the Elf Dash is available through the organizer’s registration periods shown by the event. Registered 5K participants receive an event bib, a finisher medal, and after-race goodies. Elf Dash participants receive an event bib, a goodie bag, and a commemorative Elf Dash button.
Shirts are available for purchase through December 5: long-sleeve shirts are $25, with 2XL and 3XL adding $5, and Elf Dash shirts are $20 in youth sizes Small through XL. On-site features listed for the day include holiday inflatables and Santa’s house, and the schedule notes the arrival of Santa.
Children under 16 must participate in the 5K with a parent or guardian. The event also features a 24 Days of Giving campaign beginning December 1 to collect shelf-stable items for the Skoolie Foundation Boxes of Hope. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
