Christmas Eve Ugly Sweater 5K Run/Walk
The Christmas Eve Ugly Sweater & Elf Dash is an annual community event held at Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup, Washington. This holiday gathering focuses on a festive atmosphere where participants are encouraged to wear themed clothing such as holiday sweaters or elf costumes. The venue features holiday decorations, including inflatables and a dedicated Santa’s house.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 1K (Kids Elf Dash)
The 5K run and walk is open to all ages, though children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants in this distance receive an event bib, a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. The 1K Elf Dash is designed for children aged 3 to 9 and takes place through a dedicated lane of holiday inflatables. Children in the dash receive an event bib, a goodie bag, and a commemorative pin.
Long-sleeve shirts are available for separate purchase until early December. The event also coordinates a charitable effort for the Skoolie Foundation. Attendees are invited to contribute shelf-stable food items to support the 24 Days of Giving campaign, which provides food boxes for those in need.
