Event Overview
The United with the Blue 5k is a running event in Lake Mary, Florida. The event's proceeds support Team BlueLine and Law Enforcement United, two organizations dedicated to honoring fallen officers, remembering survivors, and helping injured officers and those in need.
Event Details
The event offers two ways to participate.
- A 5K run/walk.
- A Virtual 5k.
The 5K course is certified by USATF. The race is timed using a disposable chip attached to the back of the runner's bib. Participants receive a custom diecast finisher medal, with the first 300 registered participants guaranteed to receive one. Shirts are guaranteed to participants who register before October 21st.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age group. Age groups range from 9 & Under to 90+.
Logistics
Packet pick-up is scheduled at a store called Front Running Sports, beginning on the Wednesday before the event. Packet pick-up and registration are also available on the morning of the event.
