United Way of St. Charles Bridge Run
The United Way of St. Charles Bridge Run is a road race scheduled for March 28, 2026 in Destrehan, Louisiana. The event is organized by United Way of St. Charles and presented by Shell Norco and Valero St. Charles Refinery. The course crosses the Hale Boggs Bridge over the Mississippi River, with the start at Harry Hurst Middle School and the finish at Westbank Bridge Park.
The program includes a 5K and a 5K NOTC Family event, as well as a category for racewalkers. Published entry fees list the standard 5K at $35 with reduced pricing for youth and older adults, and a NOTC family option priced separately. The New Orleans Track Club is associated with race activities and one of the events is designated for NOTC members.
Race materials and logistics information are provided for participants, including course maps, packet pickup, parking and shuttle bus guidance, and gear check. The event features a post race party and a Largest Team Competition that recognizes the team with the most registered members.
