United Way of Fairfield County Annual 5K Run
The United Way of Fairfield County Annual 5K Run takes place on November 14, 2026, at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in Lancaster, Ohio (157 E Fair Ave). The event has run since 1997 and regularly draws several hundred participants to a closed 5K course.
The event offers separate 5K entries for civilian and military or veteran participants, with different registration fees for each category. Cash prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers in the 5K. A traveling Participation Trophy is awarded to the company with the largest number of participants, determined by company size.
Organizers also collect donations for a Weekend Backpack program; requested items include granola bars, trail mix, cereals, fruit, and applesauce. A United Way Color Walk will be held after the 5K on November 14, 2026.
