Howl-o-ween Paws For A Cause
The Howl-o-ween Paws For A Cause is an annual running and walking event held at Buckeye Lake. Now in its third year, the event features a Halloween theme and encourages participants to complete the course alongside their dogs. The activity takes place at 5171 N Bank Rd and follows a 5k route that is open to runners, joggers, and walkers.
Participants are invited to bring their dogs in costumes to participate in an organized doggy costume contest. The event atmosphere is centered around pet-friendly fitness and seasonal activities. Following the completion of the 5k, the venue hosts several additional festivities, including a bob for apples contest and a basket raffle featuring various prizes.
The event serves as a fundraiser for The American Service Dog Foundation. The proceeds from the registration and donations are used to support the training and provision of service dogs for individuals with disabilities.
- 5k distance for runners and walkers.
The event provides a designated space for the dog-loving community to engage in physical activity while supporting the development of service animal programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
