About the race
The Lancaster Turkey Day 5k/10k is held on November 26, 2026, in Lancaster, Ohio, at 1592 Granville Pike. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a short kids fun run.

- 5K 3.1 miles (timed)
- 10K 6.2 miles (timed)
- Kids Fun Run 200 m (with swag)
- Kids Fun Run 200 m (no swag)
- Virtual 5K 3.1 miles
- Virtual 10K 6.2 miles
Early registration fees listed for timed races are: ages 11 and over $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K; ages 10 and under $25 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. Virtual entries are listed at $40. Kids fun run options show a paid swag entry at $29.99 and a no-swagger is free. Prices increase by $5 on November 1 and again on November 16. Registrations submitted by 1pm on November 16 are guaranteed a T-shirt or hooded sweatshirt in the registrant's preferred size; after that shirts may be a different color or design.
Each registrant receives a choice of one item (for example a turkey, elf, or Santa hat from many options, a tutu, a T-shirt, or an upgraded hooded sweatshirt). Additional items include a custom race bib, a personal pie or donut or cookie, chip timed results with instant posting, and snacks and refreshments. Age group award winners receive a custom specialty turkey trot medal.
The event supports the Foundation Dinners, which serves over 2,500 meals a month with the aid of more than 200 volunteers and has served Lancaster's west side for over 30 years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
