United Irish of Dayton Celtic Festival 5K/10K
The event is held on the Great Miami River Recreation Trail near RiverScape MetroPark in downtown Dayton. The course is predominantly on the recreation trail bikeway and follows an out-and-back route that starts and finishes on the trail.
The runs take place alongside the United Irish of Dayton Celtic Festival and are open to runners and walkers of all ages. Refreshments will be available at the finish. There will not be any onsite registration; online registration is offered and registration fees are nonrefundable and nontransferrable. Shirts are guaranteed for those registered by July 17 and some shirts may be available on race day but are not guaranteed. Race items will not be mailed.

Registration fees vary by date: through May 31 the 5K is $25 and the 10K is $30; June 1 through July 17 the 5K is $30 and the 10K is $35; July 18 through race day the 5K is $35 and the 10K is $40. Transfers to another participant are permitted through June 27. Parking is available on streets or in various downtown lots; participants are responsible for confirming public access. Awards include top overall male and female for each distance and top finishers in age groups ranging from 10 and under through 70 and over.
