Event
The St. Chris 2 Miler Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Vandalia, Ohio. The event is presented by the Knights of Columbus, Father Aufderheide Council 12912, and proceeds support the Vandalia-Butler Food Pantry. The race venue is St Christopher Church, 435 E National Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377. Registration opens March 31, 2026. Pre-registration fee is $23 (a T-shirt is guaranteed if registered by July 13), or $15 without a shirt. Race-day registration fee is $25 (T-shirts while extras last). A $5 discount applies for participants 17 and under and for those 65 and over.
Course, awards and extras
The course is a 2.0 mile route through neighborhood streets, described as very flat, with the start and finish at the church. Individual awards include special awards for top overall male and female, and sock awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are listed for males and females: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. Team awards for top female, male and co-ed teams are based on the sum of the top five members' times; teams must have at least five members. The event also offers refreshments and door prizes.
