Event Details

The St. Chris 2 Miler Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The event is presented by the Knights of Columbus 12912.

Location and Course

The event is held at St Christopher Church on 435 E National Rd in Vandalia, Ohio. The course is a 2.0-mile route described as very flat and fast, traveling through neighborhood streets. The start and finish are both at the church.

Purpose

All proceeds from the event help support the Vandalia-Butler Food Pantry.

Awards

Special awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers. The top three male and female finishers in each age group receive sock awards. Team awards (for female, male, and co-ed teams) are also given in the form of sock awards for the top five scoring members; teams must have a minimum of five members to compete.

Age groups for awards are: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.

Entry and Extras

The pre-registration fee is $23, which includes a T-shirt if registered by a specified date in July. A $15 pre-registration option without a shirt is available. The race-day fee is $25 for all participants. A $5 discount applies to participants aged 17 & under and 65 & over.
