Dragons 5K presented by Orthopedic Associates
The Dragons 5K takes place on July 18, 2026 in Dayton, Ohio, with an in-person race at Day Air Ballpark, 220 Patterson Blvd, Dayton, OH 45402, and a virtual option that can be completed anywhere in the USA. The event historically attracts over 3,000 participants. Distances offered:

Registration, swag, timing and prizes
Registration opens March 2, 2026. Standard adult pricing begins at $25 with scheduled increases on April 12, June 1, and the week of the race; youth pricing is listed at $20 and may adjust by date of birth. The virtual option adds $10 for shipping of race swag, which ships the week after the race, or can be picked up in person.
The 2026 race swag bag includes a Dragons 5K t-shirt, medal, Dragons hat, and four Dragons tickets. Registrations by July 5, 2026 are guaranteed the listed shirt, medal, and hat while supplies last. Bib and swag pickup is scheduled for dates before the race, with additional pickup options after the event.
In-person participants are electronically timed. Overall top three finishers will receive engraved Dragons bats; age-group prizes are e-gift cards for top three in each listed age category. Virtual participants are not eligible for prizes. Virtual results may be submitted online through July 31, 2026. The event is presented by Orthopedic Associates.
