Dragons 5K presented by Orthopedic Associates
The Dragons 5K offers both an in person race at Day Air Ballpark in Dayton, Ohio and a virtual 5K option that can be completed anywhere in the United States.

- 5K virtual option to run, walk, or hike locally and submit a time online
Registration opens February 1, 2027 and closes April 18, 2027. Adult entry is listed at $25 with scheduled price increases later in the season; youth pricing is available. Virtual entries incur an additional $10 shipping fee for the race swag bag, or participants may pick up swag at the Dragons Box Office before or after the event.
All in person participants are electronically timed and results are published after the race. Age group awards are determined by chip time. Overall top three finishers in each gender and non binary categories receive an engraved Dragons bat. Age group top finishers receive team store e gift cards. Groups and schools are eligible for separate group prizes. Virtual participants are not eligible for event prizes.
Race apparel, a medal, a Dragons hat, and additional swag valued at approximately $75 are included with entry. Virtual participants receive the same swag and four tickets to a Dragons game, with ticket redemption information provided after the race. Swag pickup is available at the Dragons Box Office on designated dates surrounding the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
