Unit 5K
The Unit 5K is the fifth annual community running event held on May 3, 2026, at Maxwell Park in Normal, Illinois. The event supports the Unit 5 Educational Foundation and is presented by Commerce Bank.
Participants can choose between two event distances:
- 5K on a cross country grass course
- One Mile walk or run
The course takes place on grass and follows a cross country-style layout. Star Wars attire is encouraged for participants. Race packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday (TBD) and on race day at Maxwell Park. Organizers recommend completing registration prior to arriving on site to reduce on-site processing.
