Ugliest Sweater Run
The Ugliest Sweater Run in Bloomington is a holiday-themed, non competitive run or walk held at Miller Park on December 12, 2026. The event is organized by Bloomington Parks and Recreation and Fleet Feet Bloomington and includes prizes for special costume categories.
Available route options:
- 3 mile course, two and a half loops around Miller Park
- 1.5 mile route, one and a half loops around Miller Park
This year's sweater award categories include Most Creative Sweater Engineering, Cutest in an Ugly Sweater, Walking Christmas Tree Award, Best Sweater in Motion, Most Likely to Overheat from Excessive Decorations, and Best 3D Outfit.
Race information notes that bib pick up is available at Fleet Feet Bloomington prior to the event and at the Miller Park Pavilion before the start to reduce crowding. Registration is electronic only; paper race forms are not available. A one hour course time limit applies. Entry fees are listed as Race only $10, or Race plus a long-sleeved unisex cotton t-shirt $30 when preordered by November 30; very limited extra shirts will be available on race day for $20 cash. The entry fee is non refundable and non transferable. If the Race Directors delay or cancel the event for safety reasons there shall be no refund of the entry fee; shirts will still be available for pick up.
