The 2026 Unified 5k and AdaptXpo is an inclusive road race and adaptive sports expo held at Cumberland High School in Cumberland, Rhode Island. This is the second annual edition. The event is designed so participants can run, walk, roll, or row together.
The event raises funds for AdaptX education, research, community events, fitness programming, and grant initiatives.
Distances offered:
- 5k run, walk, roll or row
- 2k walk or run
There is an early start option for 5k participants who expect to take longer than an hour; these participants begin before the main field so there will still be a crowd at the finish. Registration opens February 11, 2026 and closes May 6, 2026. The registration fee is $30.
The AdaptXpo features vendors and clinics that focus on health, inclusion, accessibility, assistive technology, and adaptive sports. The format brings together athletes with and without disabilities in a shared event space. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
