The East Bay running festival takes place on May 31, 2026, at Pierce Field / Pierce Memorial Stadium in East Providence, Rhode Island. Distances offered include:
- Half marathon
- 6 miler
- 5K
Course and race details
The half marathon course is certified and begins and ends at Pierce Memorial Stadium. The route follows Lyons Avenue, continues on Veterans Memorial Parkway, and returns on the East Bay Bike Path with views of Narragansett Bay and the City of Providence. The half marathon has some hills, with the last two miles described as downhill or flat. The 6 miler and 5K are also described as a little hilly and finish downhill. The half marathon has a four hour time limit. The event will use chip timing.
Facilities and awards
There are seven water stations along the course. Porta potties will be placed at miles 4 and 8. All online registrants receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal, and all participants receive a medal. Trophies are awarded to the overall male and female in the half marathon, 6 miler, and 5K. Packet pick up is available at the Seekonk YMCA and at the race site.
