Course Description
The half marathon starts and finishes at Pierce Memorial Stadium. The route goes out on Lyons Ave, continues on Veterans Memorial Parkway, and returns on the East Bay Bike Path, which offers views of Narragansett Bay and Providence. The half marathon course is described as having some hills, with the final 2 miles being downhill or flat. The 5K and 6 miler are also described as having some hills, with a downhill finish. The half marathon course is a certified course.
Event Information
The race uses chip timing. There is a 4-hour time limit for the half marathon. All participants receive a medal, and trophies are awarded to the overall male and female winners in each distance. All online registrants receive a t-shirt and a finisher's medal. The event has 7 water stations and portable toilets at miles 4 and 8 on the half marathon course.
