UltraTrax Cranmore
UltraTrax Cranmore is a single-day endurance event held at Cranmore Mountain in North Conway, New Hampshire. The event is primarily designed for walkers, hikers, and ruckers. Participants complete a 7-mile loop that features 1,775 feet of elevation gain. The course utilizes a variety of terrain, including mellow forest single-track, quiet woodland paths, and old ski-trail roads.
The route climbs through shaded hardwoods and traverses gentle ridgelines, offering views over North Conway and the White Mountains. The descent follows wide ski-trail corridors back to the base area. Participants can choose to complete multiple laps of the course within a 10-hour time limit. The event offers four distinct distance levels:
- 7 miles (one loop)
- 14 miles (two loops)
- 21 miles (three loops)
- 28 miles (four loops)
Athletes have the option to carry specific weights of 10 lbs, 20 lbs, or 35 lbs for an added challenge. The event is professionally timed and the course is marked with signage and tape. A base camp celebration at the finish includes food and drinks, and professional photography is provided during the event. High-level finishers who complete three or four loops are eligible for the Grey Wolf Medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
