Ultratrax Cranmore - North Conway, NH
Ultratrax Cranmore is a one-day endurance walking event held on Cranmore Mountain in North Conway, New Hampshire. Participants choose how many loops to complete on a 7-mile looped course with varied terrain and 1,857 ft of elevation gain.
The event offers four distance options:
- 7 miles
- 14 miles
- 21 miles
- 28 miles
All distances must be completed within a 10-hour window to register an official finish. Walkers, hikers, and ruckers may carry optional weight vests or rucks weighing 10, 20, or 35 pounds. Level 3 and Level 4 finishers are eligible for a Grey Wolf Medal.
The route follows mellow single-track and old ski-trail roads, climbs to ridgelines with valley views over North Conway and the White Mountains, and finishes with a descent down wide ski-trail corridors back to the trailhead. The course is professionally timed, clearly marked, and supported by aid stations approximately every 2.5 to 3 miles offering water, electrolytes, snacks, and toilets. Professional photography is provided and each participant receives event gear including a commemorative patch and finisher shirt; additional swag is available for weighted participants.
