Event overview
The Ultra Ultras Turkey Trot 5k is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Lake Wales, Florida at Lake Wailes Park (198 N Lake Shore Blvd). The event includes a main 5k, a student 5k open to ages 18 and under, a volunteer option, and a free kids run for ages 9 and under. The event is designated as a fun run and participants may wear costumes.
Entry, logistics and awards
Entry fees are tiered: $35 until May 31, 2025 and $40 through race day; students 18 and under are $25. Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day at Lake Wailes Park. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for early registrants; sizes may be limited for later registration. Race medals are guaranteed to the first 300 registrants. A portion of each race fee will be donated to the Lake Wales Recreation Center. Food will be provided to participants after the run, including hot grilled pumpkin pancakes and fruit. Timing and scoring will be handled by FITNICHE using a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib.
