The Ultra Ultras Turkey Trot 5k is set for November 26, 2026, at Lake Wailes Park in Lake Wales, Florida (198 N Lake Shore Blvd, Lake Wales, FL 33853). This is the fourth annual Turkey Trot and includes a 5-kilometre fun run and a free kids run for ages 9 and under. The course is described as an easy 5k on a paved path with a small section of grass; it is not a trail race.

Logistics, entries and awards
Entry fees for the 2026 event list Age 19 and up at $40 through November 1, 2026, and $45 after that date; students 18 and under are listed at $25. A portion of entry fees will be donated to local cross-country programs. Schools with the most student runners receive donations ($500, $250, $150, $100 for first through fourth most students). Race shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed to the first 400 registered; shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by November 6, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race and on race day at Lake Wailes Park. Timing and scoring are provided by FITNICHE using a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib. Awards include top overall male and female, masters and grand master categories, and top three in standard age groups; participants may not win both overall and an age-group award. Food after the race includes pumpkin pancakes, bananas and snacks; all kids in the free run receive a ribbon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
