Ultra Fest : Easton, Washington
Ultra Fest is a multi-distance trail event organized by Run Super Series that starts and finishes at the Easton firehouse. Distances offered include:
- 100 mile
- 100k
- 50 mile
- 50k
- 25k
Courses use the Foothills Trail and run west from Easton along Lake Easton and the Yakima River. Around Mile 8 the route passes through the Whittier Tunnel and at Mile 10 it reaches the shores of Keechelus Lake, where runners follow the lake for about six miles with Cascade Mountain views. Hyak aid station appears shortly after Mile 17. The 50k finishes at Easton; the 50 mile, 100k, and 100 mile courses continue with additional out-and-back segments, and the 100 mile includes a third out-and-back to Hyak.
Logistics note that the event provides on-site parking at the start and finish, crew access, stocked aid stations, and drop bag options for longer distances: Hyak, Easton, and Cle Elum for the 100 mile and 100k; Hyak and Easton for the 50 mile. No drop bags are available for the 50k or 25k. Packet pick-up and day of registration are available at Easton; advanced packet pick-up is not offered.
All registrations are final with no refunds or deferrals. Distance changes are allowed up to two weeks before the event with applicable fees. The event is USATF sanctioned. Runners receive a custom tech tee and either a medal or a buckle, a fabric drop bag, and downloadable race photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
