Course and 2026 status

The route is primarily downhill, with a net elevation loss of just over 2,000 feet and a low starting elevation. The course includes a long tunnel section and passes mountain and waterfall scenery. The organizer lists 2026 race dates as June 7, August 9, and September 13, 2026. Due to severe storm damage to sections of the Palouse to Cascade Trail, events were not permitted to use that trail for 2026. Organizers are working with permitting agencies to develop an alternate route; registration is temporarily paused while permits and an alternate course are finalized.
