About the race
Ultra Adelaide is a trail ultramarathon based at Pinky Flat in Adelaide, South Australia. It offers five distances: 21km, 34km, 50km, 100km and 100 miles. Runners follow the Heysen Trail from Kuitpo, over Mount Lofty, Cleland, Morialta and Black Hill, then descend along the River Torrens to finish beside the River Torrens Footbridge in front of Adelaide Oval in the CBD.
The route winds through hills, forests, national parks and the city, celebrating Adelaide’s landscape, heritage and community spirit. Highlights include bus transfers to the start, generous cut-offs, a plastic-free policy with mandatory gear, long-distance aid stations, and drop bags.
