Race details
The event uses GPX course files and requires runners to have the GPX loaded in the Gaia Maps app on a mobile phone. The 100 mile race includes 11 manned full-service aid stations; aid station supplies include water, Tailwind nutrition, soft drink, fresh fruit and snacks. The event is plastic-free and most runners must carry their own water vessel; the 21 km course has two paper-cup hydration stations and one Brookway station.
Cutoffs specified in the race information are 36 hours for the 100 mile distance and 28 hours for the 100 km distance; other distances must finish within those cutoffs. Pacers are permitted for the 34 km, 50 km, 100 km and 100 mile races at designated aid stations; pacers are not permitted for the 21 km. Drop bags are allowed for 50 km, 100 km and 100 mile entrants and must fit a supermarket cooler bag. Mandatory equipment lists are published for longer distances and include items such as a mobile phone, first aid items, a waterproof jacket and minimum liquid capacity.
